Better dissipation of heat.

But for a street car, you'd be fine with either.

Dimpled rotors have holes (grooves) that act as slot, while also releasing gas. With dimpled rotors, the drilling is not done aggresively throughout the entire rotor. Therefore the structure of the rotor is more durable during intense temperatures.

i have these rotors on my US lancer... Great product been 4 months now.... no warping, and when i can i still abuse em.... never gave me hell.... now i just need the SS lines.

Note: ^ is not a chip out of the rotor, i acdiently ripped the box...
save the boxes thou, make great storage for factory rotors

These rotors weigh the exact same as the stock rotors.
