Good News! Toyo has decided NOT to raise prices on the RA1!

Prices will remain at 2004 levels for the RA1. We were expecting a 3% increase Feb 1, on the T1S and Proxes 4 models

This means you can still get:
235/40-17 for $170 or
235/4-17 for $177 or
255/40-17 for $170! (the RA1 does not come in 225 or 245 sizes)

Hoosier News! Just got the 2005 prices - they go into effect Monday the 24th. Got the inventory sheet, looks like they have a good supply of A and R compound S04's . I looks like the prices have gone up on average $5 per tire. If you order by tommorrow, you will still qualify for 2004 prices. (note: all Hoosier Dealers will have and increase, even Tire Rack)

Hankook pricing is set to come in the next few weeks. They will be testing a new R compound D.O.T. radial next week. The Autocross test real well, more to follow in a head to head with the competitors brands. As mentioned the Drift/Track Day tire will be available soon. This should be a hot tire for those of you who want grippier tires a good cost. (rumor has it the 235/40-17 is going to come in around $130ea) We will see on that. Look for a few 18" slick sizes this summer.

Avon News: We have no word yet if we will be able to sell the D.O.T. Spec R Avon Radial. The models that have been available are A compound only. We did a test with Hoosier and the tires were real fast, but after 10 laps the wires were hanging out. That is when we found out they were Autocross compounds only. We hope to have some 17" & 18" Avon Slicks for 2005 for the open class track day guys.

Yokohama News: AD07 (Neova) will be out late 1st quarter according to our reports. No news on additional A048R sizes for 2005. But, it looks like it may happen soon. We just got new pricing on the A032R and they have been discounted. PM me for pricing details.

For those looking for Race Wheels we have shippment of TDR Racing wheels due in mid Feb. These will fit the EVO, had a good amount sold last year. These are not the ultimate light weight wheels, light enough, the extra weight is for strength. Update! According to Toyo, the T1R is expected for a June -July Release. News is straight from Toyo. Obviously this can change, but this the most current info I have. If you want them, you'll have to find a Canadian Dealer as they already have them.
