HKS shop in Taiwan

Was at the HKS shop in Taiwan today to check out some parts for the car and while I was there I saw their HKS Evo. I was suppose to get a ride in it to feel the power but the owner was not there to give me a ride. They claim it has 500-600whp which was not completely tuned yet. Here is the sad thing, in this country not alot of people know how to tune cars and they arent nearly as good as the guys in the US. Maybe there are a handful of guys out there but I still havent found them yet. Most shops here tell me they usually wait for the japanese tuners to visit Taiwan and have them tune it. Some shops here have told me that the owner of HKS Taiwan is still lost on what he is doing. wtf?. I just dont know who to believe

That's funny. I'm in Taiwan a lot for business, and I got the same impression. I went into a couple of shops and they were saying the "fastest" car in taiwan was some 400 hp Silvia. There are lots of cars with stupid blue lights and loud exhaust, but no real ringers.
