And it does have a perfect weave to it. The bars are just as strong as the stock metal ones I had but about 10 times lighter. And yeah, its amazing the bike parts they make out of carbon fiber, the wheels are amazing with 3 hollow spokes and probably weigh nothing compared to metal spokes. just for proof... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
