just for comparison.. my red hood is stoned chipped to death... think i might just paint it and add the raliart grill instead. How much would repainting the stock hood cost?

I just a got a quote from a local body shop. $350.00 to paint the stock hood with the original color.

Can you attach the aluminum shield thats bolted under the mesh from the stock hood to the CF hood, or does it come with one?

it comes with the mesh that you see in the pictures

I see the mesh, and the stock hood has mesh too. I talking about the slotted aluminum weather shield that is attached under the mesh that keeps water and other element from getting into the engine bay.

do you guys think it would hurt or lcoud the finish if I apply 3M clear bra on the CF Hood? I don't think it would. Does CF chip easily?

the only downsides i see to this hood is: Mesh is bright silver, Aluminum weather protector does not fit, and no skeleton.

How long did it take you guys to get this hood after you sent the money? I sent the money in for 2 hoods a week ago and they haven't been sent out yet. Thanks

how did you pay for the hoods. did you get it from auction, cause if you had gotten it threw me you would have it weds. when i order them as long as it not on the weekend it ships the next day!!

Having the same problem. I have sent three emails with none answered yet. No tracking number, no estimated delivery date and no hood. If you read his vendor rating on ebay, that seems to be a common fault. A little difficult trying to accept delivery when you have no idea when it's coming. I'm starting to get a little concearned.
