Pics of before and after w/ s2k antenna

Just got my s2k in...I just got in the car and turned on the radio, and most stations come in as clear as before, with the exception of one. I still get "the fish" good, so im cool. I don't even think any washer is needed, it sits flush enough for my liking. Heres the pics:

That looks great!

I still got the original RC look, but hope to pick up one of these shorties soon.

What do you mean about the washer? Not to sound like a ***** but a closer picture showing more of the detail of how the antenna meets up with the base would be appreciated. Maybe we could see what you mean about not having to use it.

Ty, some people have said that a washer is required to make the antenna sit perfectly flush around the base. I was definitely going to take more close up pics and pics from far away, but I was tired of getting rained on. I will update w/ close ups of the antenna to base and pics from further away. I got the antenna from hondaautomotiveparts.com for 23.80 shipped.

Yeah I have one as well. Works about the same for me as stock when it comes to reception. Doesn't fit perfectly flush with the base, but close enough for me so I haven't put a washer there... actually I never even thought about that until now.

I just wish the stocker wasn't the same as like all the VWs and stuff. But at least it's in a cool spot and not coming off the front fender or something like my old Spec V was...

I swapped mine and gave the RC car part to a friend with a Jetta who had his antenna vandalized.

I have noticed decreased reception but that might be due to the crappy Sony HU.

I live in cypress....near cerritos/anaheim/los alamitos. Yes, the reception is almost the same as the stock.

Before and after with my s2k antenna, I don't notice any difference in reception on the radio. I usually listen to CDs anyways.

The Honda Element antennas work also! In case, you guys can't find the S2000 ones.
