Hey guys i know this might sound a little dumb and yes ive noticed im a newb so if u want to help me, just help me out ide appriciate it if u keep your rude *** coments to yourself but anyways for the people willing to help. i have a tarmac black evo and i want to put some tints but im confused on how dark i want them. the guy at the shop was telling me that the front tints are illegal but im still going to put some not so dark. but anyway if posible can u guys post pics of your cars with tints and tint % just so i can get an idea? thanks your help is appreciated.

 

What state are you in? Different state have different legal %. Most people do 5% back 3 and the front to 20%-35%. I got 20% all around but don't have a camera.

Here's 20% in the front and 5% throughout the rest of the car. With all windows up they all look 5% , but with them cracked there's enough light inside to lighten the fronts up for "inspection."

There is a website that shows the tint percentage allowed per state... However, I can't seem to find the URL now.... Try a google search.

Front tint usually isn't illegal unless it's over a certain percentage.

 

i got black evo 2005 got 5% all around and 30% windshield i am in florida so hot like evil.

 

I am running 20% all around... Fronts are illegal, but I just roll them down when I get pulled over...
