Already knowing part of the answer, I have to ask...Why all the hate on the DAMD Body Kit? I know...2F2F ! I've done a lot of research and there are some great threads on body kits here. I just don't understand why the DAMD kit is so poorly recieved. When the kit's not on a puke green Evo with graphics, it actually looks nice. I'm considering it for my ride. Without ripping me apart, why else do people not like DAMD? The pic below is of Hong Kong Evo's ride.

I agree with you 100%.. The DAMD kit is a very very nice kit.. And thoes who hate it because of 2F2F, well they are insecure I think in some way............... Are you telling me that the veilside or what ever that company name is body kit for the evo looks nicer than this one.. I seriously don't think so..

Anyway this kit is a very nice one and I am thinking of getting one my self for my Evo 7..
I really like the side and rear carbon fiber which is kind of hard to notice..

 

The pic is now fixed...Sorry about that. I totally agree with you, Dubai. I don't care for the Veilside kit. It doesn't fit the car very well, especially the side skirts. It looks like the car may have grown a tumor...but that's my 2 cents. The Carbon Fiber side skirts on the DAMD are subtle, but nice. For the time being, I'm only looking at getting the front bumber. Thanks for the feedback thusfar!

I think it looks great, even on the green one...it's the rest of the stupid green car that ruins it...an Evo with that paint job and normal lookingness...instead of ricey lookingness would be good...but maybe I'm just a sucker for crazy colored cars

 

If you're building your car to please other people, you're doing it for the wrong reasons. Buy the kit you like, screw everyone elses opinions.

 

that kit is very popular in japan.

no hate from me, the DAMD front bumper just isnt my cup of tea.

fwiw, i really like their carbon side diffusers and rear carbon valence extensions.

 

The clearance may be an issue, especially since my ride is lowered 2". I agree that it shouldn't matter what other people think, as long as I like it. My ride is an expression of who I am. Everything I've done thusfar has been to fulfill my creative expression, and anyone who mods should do the same. That said, I'm simply curious why so many people hated this kit in previous threads. I'm not looking for approval. Anything drastic could envoke positive or negative feedback. I have a custom paint job. Most people like it, some don't. It didn't stop me from doing it.

I think it looks great too...the DAMD kit is one of the only bodykits for the evo that I really like besides the Chargespeed.

 

I think it looks nice. The Veilside kit, on the other hand, looks like it was cut from a styrofoam cup or something...I don't know how to describe it...bleeccchhhh.
