PAINT your rims

is it very hard to paint the rims i want to paint my gold

no its easy , but i would get them powder coated so it last longer and looks better

i heard when u powdercoat ur rims that it could cause the rim to become britlle and crack when ur taking a turn hard. it is a little different with motorcycles where u are not throwing as much weight around.

Just make sure you get them to do a low temp powder coating. I have seen high temp's kill aluminum rims like ours.

I just painted my stock rims with the Duplicolor Wheel Paint in "Graphite" with the matching clear-coat. It was pretty easy, but I took my time, prep is the key. I wanted a different color, but settled for this one. I am having new tires put on Monday so it needed to be finished by then so powdercoating was out. I had my ZR-1 rims for my GMC Typhoon powdercoated in blackchrome which cost $300 to do. I spent $20 to paint these, do the math.

I painted my stock rims on my 2001 prelude when I had it...eh it looked alright but it was a little dull(i painted them flat black, w/ 3 coats of clear)

how did you make your rims look so glossy ^^^

After there painted, And they get dirty does the paint chip off easy?
