I'm planning to spend $1000 for the Navi and 2-300 for the head unit... how does Pioneer AVIC-N1 perform?
also, if I install this thing, would it be easy to get stolen?

For your price range, get an AVIC....its a really good unit for the price, its a flip out monitor that plays dvd/mp3 and it has navigation, normally you would have to get the flip out seperately and the navigation seperately, which would be over 2000

i've got a computer in my car that is connected to a 7" indash touchscreen. I have DVD, Nav, Wireless internet, and whatever else a computer can do. Ill take some picture soon. My point is, everything here cost way less than the pioneer AVIC.
Now, i just need to get a nice amp and new speakers. Also looking at other things such as bluetooth and OBD II software. With a computer in my car, there no limit to what i can do.

So you got yourself one already?
How much did you get it for?
Also what's a good price for the system?

ooh no i dont have one yet...... im just tryin to get an idea of what it will look like if it was in the bottom bay, or if it even fit down there. I'm not sure if the screen goes out far enough to go around the dash or if it coverd the climate controls or not.
