19" Inch RIMS!!!! Low weight 19" Rims.
I've heard of a few 19" rims that have a close to stock weight and sometimes even lower.
Volk had 1 or 2, I'm still looking for the weight of the Rh Pro J8, but I've seen a few peopel on the site with them installed, so they cant be that bad!
If anyoen has 19" rims on thier evo or pics of an Evo with 19"s please post, but also post the name of the wheel and the weight.
(Very important to know the weight)

I was looking for that rim on the Evo, Do you have any other pics, maybe in the light?
I like them, but not half as much as the J8's. I think ill just put in another 800 dollars for some more torque so that the 2 pound difference in wheels will be overcome :P

if you understand how rotational mass works then you'll know that a 20lb 19" rim will slow a car down a lot more than a 20lb 17" rim. the greater the distance from the center, the more power you need to spin.
that's all, enjoy.

I know it will do something , but what WILL it do, nobody ever says that. Is it a HUGE difference where if you had the same car, 1 with 19" and 1 with stock, the stock would destroy it in a race. Or is it just minor.

i have 19x8.5 Volk ce28n in bronze going on my 2005 evo, i'm not worried. They weighed in at about 18.75 lbs. since the stock wheels are around 23 lbs I'm sure they will be fine. and yes the bigger diameter does affect it but the overall height is not that much different. i have a 19" rims with a 235/35 tire. stock is 17" with a 235/45 tire. there is a 23mm difference which is about 1". so basically you've increased the overall height an inch. i dont think it will be a problem.
racing hart j8's are heavy, def over 25 lbs.

Well how will the j8's effect my performance?
How much slower will I actually be?
