Dont want to get too much into it but

big dog + hood + scratch + nails - paint = mad !

pretty deep on some scratches but I dont want a cf hood or to paint it all.

By the way out of curiosity how much would a stock hood cost?

you can do what i did and paint it your self wasnt too hard for me.. just took about a day.. check out the pics.. i didnt have much help.. had some tools for painting to start with.. and a air compressor probably the most expensive part.. you can pick up a cheep spray gun for 20 - 40 bucks and pick up paint probably around 200 but hella a lot cheeper then payn somone else to do it
