what size speakers do we have and suggestions?

what size speakers do we have and suggestions?
I am in the market for some new component speakers for the front. What size is it? the 6.5"s?
I don't want to spend $500 for the components but I want something that sounds really good. I am thinking MB or Focal or Alpine. are there good, lower-end models of those brands that sound good?

you'll have to go audition a few sets. the way a speaker sounds is a very personal thing. personally, i have don't like mb quarts and love boston pros. many people feel the exact opposite.
also, don't get caught up in the price. just because a set cost $500 doesn't mean you're going to like em better then a used set for $150. I've owned over a dozen different component sets over the years. I used to be into spending $$ on audio components, now i just keep it simple.
