A revived 3 year old thread about a mediocre product. Great.

Chris, I didn't mean to sound harsh in my previous message. Your car looks very nice. Stop by the detailing forum sometime. There are other LSP options you may want to consider, if you're using OTC products, that offer an improved look and much better durability.

I am a big fan of the NXT paste waxes; they've served me quite well on my S2k and Evo! Just keep in mind it is a cleaner wax so as you apply a 2nd coat it strips the first coat off so layering really won't have any benefits. This newer version 2.0 does last much longer than the original NXT which is great!

It's actually a sealant, not a wax, but you do make an important point. If one looks at the OP's methodology, he claimed the importance of a glaze that he applied before NXT. Obviously, that glaze was removed with the application of the LSP, rendering that step useless. Really, there's so much fail in this thread, I don't want to get going.

Well, kind of, I guess. There's just no reason to use NXT; it's not as if it's the only product to be had. It has no redeeming qualities. Sorry.

Its recommended that you wait 12+ hrs between each coat to let "polymers set in"....

Looks so great for a product available for local purchase. Nice job with the exhaust tip too!

Meg's is a great over the counter wax but won't hold a candle to the boutique waxes nor will it last as long. Nice pic's though and good job!!

NXT is good, but definitely doesn't last too long. Even with multiple coats.
