Blackout headlight questions?

Also to insure no leaks. I applied a layer of black high temp silicone around the seams. This silicone aint cheap though $10.00 but came with an aerosol applicator to insure an even spread. But I laid it on a little thicker.. not like it matters though you won't be able to see the seams.

Well I ended up letting them sit outside in the hot florida sun and it did the trick. Took a little longer, but got everything done up to the painting. The last coat of primer is drying now! Yippe!! Then I'll start paint them black.
