Do they fill up the wheel well though. like if you're looking from the side you can see that the stock rims are inside and not flush with the fender. Do the 17x9 sit flush or do you think you would wanted them to stick out a bit more.

I think they look a lot better sticking out a little than tucked under like the stock wheels. The tires are right at the edge of the fender and do not hit or rub when I go over a bump. The wheels definitely make the car look more aggressive, and yes, the car gets a lot dirtier if you drive through small puddles and stuff. I think it depends on which tires you get as to whether or not you'll get some rubbing on the fender or in the wheel wells (talking about 255/40/17 of course.) From what I could find, the Toyo T1s and RA1 were both fine. I decided to try out the Bridgestone RE750 and they work also. There are probably a lot of tires that clear just fine in a 255, but you will more than likely have some issues with almost any tire a 265.

Ya I just shot some in the parking garge at work- too dark. The bumper is flat black cause' this Kunt in my apartment building's parking lot scraped the crap out of it. I think it looks mean/ don't really care, so I kept it that way.

I love them! Have not run any other tires in this size to compare them to. Way stickier than the stock Advans, but I don't know how much of that is attributed to the size vs. the tire design.
