He wouldn't start up the R32's, and frankly I think they would have been racetrack loud, nothing really lost there. I started the Evo and punched it a couple times and he pantomimed to me that the R34 still wasn't tuned correctly for the new turbo and stroker kit just installed.
He said he still has to tune it and put about another 900km worth of break in miles on the R34. I might stop back in a month and see if I can't go for a spin with him in it.

Ahhh,
Korea brings back memories. Mostly sh*tty cars but to have an R34 is rarer than a ferrari. Yes, import duty taxes runs at 32% (customs duty 8%+ value added tax 10%+ special excise tax 14%). Which is why most imports running around Seoul like BMWs and MBs are very exclusive. I have personally seen only one R34 and that was about 2 years ago. It's too bad because the racing/import scene is close to zilch. All you see are wannabe tibaurons with ricey stickers. Sad.
Dude, are you stationed at Yongsan? Where were the cars located? Is it right outside the main gate?
