I think it would have looked better matching it to the valve cover color

black makes the front end look higher on white from a distance.. a color that sticks out would make it look lower...

It's the pictures guys. The lip is fighting the shadow and making it harder to see.

You could just take it off and go for the "invisible" look.

Thanks!!! I really like and most important... the wife likes it. Going to do the interior this weekend. Got the interior idea from RSBoy: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=127736

Accually SVTBreal give the idea and the DIY to me.
1) Remove the plastic under tray
2) Remove about 15 phillips head screws. (This was the hardest part casue I don't have a jack to lift the font end up.)
3) I than wash it with regular car soap.
4) Sand with 400 grit sandpaper. (Not trying to remove the paint but rough it up so the new paint will stick. I used about one sheet.)
5) Spray w/ your choice of color. (I used Dupli-Color Bumper {Black} paint.) I put about 3 coats on. Don't overspray though. Waited about 30-45min for each coat to dry. Might need more time to dry though.
6) Put your new front lip on.
Took about 2-3hrs
