Clay Bars are the shiznit

Spent about 4-5 hours detailing my car today. Washed, clayed, washed, and put 2 coats of wax on the car. We used Dawn dishsoap on the car to strip off all the old wax. For wax we used Meguiars Cleaner wax and for the final coat we used Meguiars #26. This was my first time ever using a clay bar and the results were amazing. I had little black specs on the bumper, side skirts, and the back bumper (road grime or something). I tried in the past to get them off with my finger nails and detailing spray and had no luck. The clay bar took them all out and the paint has never felt this smooth on my car ever. If you have the time I highly recommend everyone to clay their car.

I meant to go get some pics at night but I ended up going during the day. Nothing fancy cause I was in a rush but you can see the shine on the car.

yea claybarring your car makes it feel awesome hehe. With all that crap that it takes off the car, making the paint smooth as hell may even make ur 1/4 mile time lower by a 1/10th of a second heheh

But yea your car looks beautiful!!

Yeah ill have to find a good spot around town. Ill go back out and get some more pics next weekend. I ordered some gold 57s pros and they should be here this coming week. Ill find a good spot to do a shoot. Just wish I had a better camera, its not bad but could be alot nicer.

Great place to buy wax and learn more about detailing your car is zaino brothers. Their products are excellent. Their wax is great. Goes on and off very easily. The wax even has UV protection in it for your car!!!
