Ive seen this before. Dark blue metallic Acura NSX with inverted vent hood (like NSX-R) that was brushed aluminum. Polished aluminum would be impossible to drive do to the glare. I drove a MG roadster with a semi-polished alum hood in Manchester, England and it was impossible to see anything.

the glare would be awful. That's reason the commercial and military aircraft that have polished aluminum skins have black "visibility stripes" in front of the cockpit.

Why not do a niced brushed finish, that way it would not be that bright.

It would be a ***** to keep fingerprints off of it. What if the car gets too hot and the fingerprint leaves a permanent mark? j/k
