That looks good. How did you shave the valve cover? I have been thinking of doing that to mine.

I have a spare valve cover that Im shaving right now, then sending it out to powdercoating.

Man that engine looks sick! One Q, what kind of exhaust manifold is that and does it bolt on to a evo 9 turbo ?

I just took an air powered die grinder with a course sand paper disk to it. It grinds off pretty easy since magnesium is very soft. Then I used a electric hand sander with fine sand paper to go over it to make it smooth.

Its actually a borla manifold that I got coated at Strictly Modified. Its made for the stock or stock location turbo so yes it will fit the 9 turbo. I have an Fp black sitting under it.

DIY speed density setup i finished tonight. god it feels so much smoother now and the tial Q is so full of win! soon to come, wire tuck like my galant, tubular manifold, ets core, and hybrid Holset HX35/40.
