i agree, unless its not for show, dumbasses like me will think you just got cheap and didnt paint the fenders. CF hood and trunk i would just leave stock. Since it's vis, maybe apply a few more coats of clear coat on. This is from experience in los angeles weather.

 

I'd be fine with not getting CF fenders, but the only fenders I have right now are the chargespeed wide front fenders, and they're cracked.

 

leave it CF looking. to show the carbon fiber look. no sense painting it.

had a black si with a cf hood, it looked mean as hell.
got a tarmac black evo and getting a cf hood for the same reason, looks mean

 

maybe u can get the CF fenders, but only paint half of them, and leave half in carbon fiber?


I duno it's j/an idea, but maybe u can get creative and mask out a section of the fender to leave CF, and have the rest painted..

 

i love carbonfiber but there is something about the fenders that just looks odd. unless its ashow car paint the fenders but leave all the other stuff showing. or do what someone else mentioned and paint part of the fenders. ive seen it done with cf hoods and it turned out really cool looking

If you're going to paint 'em, then I don't see the point in getting CF. The weight savings is negligible at best. As far as the fenders...if you need to replace them, then that's fine, but please paint the fenders, o/w it just looks terrible!
