Yea... minor issues like that that only the individual who owned it from the beginning would know of or be annoyed by. I had the unfortunate luck of having my car hit a couple months back and even though it drives the same simply knowing it was repaired lessens my enjoyment of the car. Unfortunately im impulsive and added the FP WR a week after getting it back from the body shop so now im on the fence about whether or not to reverse the work I did.

 

For the normal guy probably not worth it....but for people that track their car its worth it.

the 05s are a bit more refined plus the mentioned above changes...for someone who isn't going to mod the crap outta the car the 05 is the way to go (its worth loosing some if you want to call it that).....plus 0% financing eats up most negative if you owe a lot. I would be all over it but my evo is way to far modded! Anywone want to buy mine! haha

A guy on here called bishiboy (I think) did them for me. Yes, they're just stock tails that have been painted. I like 'em .

As for losing money: I didn't really. I got more on the trade than I owed on the car. Granted, I still 'lost' 2 years worth of payments but I had 27K on the car and drove it every day so it's not like it just sat in the garage. I ended up going from the '03 to the '05 with no money down and lowered my monthly payments. I also got a front LSD, ACD and a car that's faster than the '03 was stock. It's all about the new car smell .

 

Other than the $10k you lost in payments. That is worth mentioning again. Not very fiscal, yet these cars are really fun.
