Question Removing window tint adhesive?

New Georgia tint law, so after getting pulled 3 times I stripped my tint. What is the best way to remove the adhesive? That s*** is stuck on there good!

Razorblade while pulling removes tint, then drench the sticky stuff with goo-gone for a few minutes. Then scrub with a sponge and warm water+soap.

I actually removed my tint yesterday

Be very careful not to destroy the rear defroster grid on the rear glass! Big $$ if you do!

you can usually peel the tint off and wipe off the adhesive with amonia, or shave it with a razor blade-but be carefull, you can scratch the window doing it that way. You can also use a fine brasswool and amonia/ or laquer thinner /or goo gone to get adhesive (or overspray) off the glass, the brass wool will not scratch the glass, or leave particles to rust as steel wool can.

get a garbage bag, spray it with simply green, and push it onto the window and let it sit for about a half an hour
