New Mirrors! DIY Style

I just finished making myself a pair of tiny mirrors. I used convex "blind spot" mirrors from AutoZone. They cost me $4.50,

They work awesome, cost nothing, and dropped somewhere around 10 lbs from the front of the car. I need to weight the factory mirrors they are heavy!

So does everyone hate these?

I guess I just care about the function and the fact I didn't spend $300.

Damn, man. Those things are small … baby-d!ck size. The biggest problem I see is the stock plastic mounting bracket. It looks like an unnecessary platform for the mirror. As small as they are, they may actually create more drag than the bigger stock mirror.
