It happened to me on the track at about 120mph, even with the support rods. The problem is that it is bolted to the lower lip of the bumper that is not securely attached to the actual front bumper. It ripped off and flew up in the air after just a few laps in the first session of the day. I called the shop that sold it to me and told them to contact APR about their design. The other thing about it is that it's not even true CF, just overlaid on fiberglass. I'm going to build my own that will actually be functional and not just a show piece.

hey bro...get the rods on your splitter ASAP......at high speed it WILL rip off your lower lip....and ruin your front bumper.......TRUST me I have gone through 4 of them.....and it has happend once already...
