i got my bumper from a local member who went with a voltex front. they are widely available but still fetch a premium price. some agree the VIII bumpers look much more aggressive but i got my IX for a great price with emblem and grill. My car looks much better now.

Do you have to remove any front bumper support foam/pads? I bought an 8 with a 9 conversion and I cant see any foam pads around the support beam. I did a safety inspection here in hawaii and I failed because they said I needed it.. thanks

Maybe this will help. I seem to remember getting a new bumper support, but nothing about changing any foam.

There's plenty of totaled evos in the junk yard to get the front end off an evo 9. why buy brand new and waste money?
