By the way I forgot to mention, the tint looks awesome. I wish I could have gone that dark, but I think any darker would be pushing it; way too much attention.

I got my winders tinted yesterday too. The shop used 20% tint from 3M. Looks great. The guy actually pointed something out to me and it makes sense now. He told me when the windows are tinted you actually look at the car and don't really focus on anything in the interior.

Your car looks nice. I like how the trim around the windows is a flat black instead of the shinny stuff the 03-04's come with.

Any idea how much pro window tinting costs? I know you can get a good DIY kit for $80 or so...

If your brave enough to do it go right ahead, but if you mess the rear window up and have to remove it your taking a chance of damaging you rear defroster. I paid $200 for my windows to be tinted with 3M tint and I now have the piece of mind that if anything goes wrong the installer fixes it, or 3M replaces it if the tint fades.

in hawaii you can have a maximum 4 inch strip down at the top of the front windshield. all the rest of the windows must be legal, meaning darkest being 35 percent. SHHHH don't tell anyone.

People do that all the time in California. Sexy looking Evo. This is off topic, but I was curious does it suck to live in Hawaii with an Evo? I mean, how many tracks do you have and there is only a limited pool of people. Not to mention your on an island, fewer roads ect. Just curious, thanks!
