Other than taking the four nuts/bolts out, what is the trick to removing the wing? I tried it on my 8 and it seemed to be glued on as well. I have a new 9MR and would like to take the wing off. How do I do it?

You have like the exact car that I'm trying to do to mine. Black car, tint, black wheels and black headlights (when u get them done). Glad your doing it first so I get to see what its like . Like someone said earlier, are the wheels painted or powder coated. But nice car tho, looks good without the wing.

It's easiest to have a friend handy aswell. First you remove the 4 bolts, then you simply pull the wing off. If you have the glue on there then have your friend use a knife and cut it as you pull the wing, don't be scared to pull the wing a bit. The glue stretches so pull the wing untill it begins to stretch and have your friend cut it with the knife. The do the other side, get that gunk off the trunk, plus the holes and you're set Let me know if you have anymore questions.

All black is the best, i've never regreted the decision to do it. If you wanna know what it looks like all black with the headlights send a pair to me and i'll take some more pictures As for the wheels, they are powdercoated.

We'll I made the drive home today, all 350 miles of it. During the span of my driving I never went below 90MPH, usually hanging out at 100MPH, which is roughly a bit below 4,500RPM. So pretty much I remained a constant 4,500RPM for 4 hours and still got 24MPG
