In our experience, movies like The Fast & The Furious increase demand for both the sort of cars and parts featured in the movie. I imagine one of the downsides of this is that a lot of nOOBs, trolls, and cracker jacks will make their way onto the forums here and post ridiculous questions, or needlessly start flame wars, but the mods are out in full force now so we should not see so much of their antics as the movie makes its way into theaters.
