Chiped paint in hood!!
As you all know our cars have really cheap paint. I washed my car a few days ago when i noticed the hood if full of little and medium sized paint chips, WTF!!My dad drives his M5 and X5 on the same road(I-4) everyday just like me, and the paint looks new with NO chips. The car is only 4 months old and it looks at this moment like it would need to be repainted Well, im debating if i should spend the money now and get it repainted or wait and buy a cf hood. What do you guys think? Anyone else have this same problem. Damn paint!!!!!!!!!!

I just said the hell with it. As soon as you fix the rock chips on the hood you're gonna get more and be right back where you started (with less money, I might add.) I have so many paint chips on my car that I'm just going to get the entire car resprayed when I get tired of looking at them - all 62,000 miles worth of rock chips.

Wont chip as easily with a new high quality paint job. Stock paint is caca. Everytime I color sand a part of the car I can see how cheesy it is.

Chips happen to all of us and it's not just mitsu. I had a wrx that I didn't even drive that often and the hood and front bumper were full of chips. I wouldn't repaint it cause I did that with the wrx and a couple of months later the chips were back. Bottom line if you use the car as a daily driver it's going to have chips.
