My Valve Cover Powder Coated... What do you think?

Candy colors are $125 if he has them in stock, regular colors are $100. If you want a custom color not in stock it is $100 extra for the 5 pds of powder. But if you have to pay for that you'll have enough left over for all kinds of other parts (I/C piping and such) Here's the shops info.

Looks great, does anyone know if you can just paint the valve cover with lets say car paint? I was thinking of colormatching mine.

you could, but powder coating is more resist to heat and chemicals..

Think of Powder Coating as a thick plastic wrap around the item. Seems to be very durible as I had to trim some of the little excess on certain parts of the cover.

Wow I usually charge less now I know to charge a bit more why didnt you do the ic pipeing while you where at it I bet it would of looked pimp either way it is sick my friend

Cuz most people wouldnt pay that much. he he he

I pay 70 bux for a valve cover, 85 if its a candy color.

Looks very spiffy except the manifold and heat shield kill it. Spray paint the heat shield with the aluminum color from wal-mart for 5 bucks. It's heat resistant up to 1200F and with 4 coats, mine hasn't peeled yet after 3 months.
