Sick pictures, and a hot car... Your camera takes so much clearer pictures than mine. Did you shoot in raw?
My only piece of advice would be to underexpose your pictures a bit more, and then brighten them up. That would keep the one side of the car from being blown out. Looks good though, and a really nice location.

low ISO, slow shutter speed, medium aperture sets, +1.0 EV settings, should do the trick.
i can take SLRish photos with my sony point n shoot camera and some photoshop.

bhut yeah. i do think they were a little overexposed, but i really wanted the strip to come out.. i still think i could have exposed them a little less, thanks for the advice
