RE:- Jackie Chan Edition FireSports 1/50 in Hong Kong
Was at AutoArt's shop around Wan Chai just now, and walked across the Mitsubishi Showroom which was showcasing Jackie Chan's personal Evolution (hence, 1st out of the 50 produced). The finishing of the car is much better in pictures, and if you had seen the real ride, I would assume if you walk into any local fibre shop, they will provide you much better finishing to it.
A rep of the showroom informed me that the going price for JCE would be HK$600k......and IX for HK450k...
My apologies for the not so clear pic as I am not used to this digicam just yet.
i think its overdone....
if i was using a SLR cam, you would be able to see the finishing of this bonnet....
you can see uneven finishing of the side mirror... the other side was slightly better..
Ralliart calipers???
Vortex Generators.....
Gawd! And they told me it was Made in Japan....
The END...
After seeing this ride, I'm very happy with my stock CT9A...
Cheers~!

Holy crap! It looks like someone took a sh*t all over an evo and used an exacto knife to cut slits in it to make it smell worse. Jesus, its like a little kid that can't make proper cookies, so he squeezes the dough in his fist and bakes it haha.

the only thing that caught my attention would be the eyelids... thats it...
Even the sales rep told me this is the ugliest car he's set his eyes on and am not sure how Mitsubishi sold 6units once it was launched, one confirmed order in UK.

This is at least the third time I've seen that...thing and it is still just as hideous as the first time.
WTF is up with the trunk lid? Nevermind the cheese grater front end and fenders. I imagine the conversation went something like this.
Hmmm, how can we make sure none can put anything in here and make it fugly at the same time. (Jackie karate chops the wet carbon piece)
That will work perfectly! It's hideously deformed and non-functional, that's the exact look we were going for.

The only thing i like about the car is the center cap for hte wheels other than that its kinda busted... I guess the full carbon fiber wing isnt bad just as long as you get it painted black or some how make the carbon fiber much darker...??? But yea i want to order those wheel caps when i get a chance too.
...but thats just me...

can someone pleaseeeeeeeee tell him to stick with movies, leave our Evo's alone! It looks like one of those toys you get at a local pharmacy store that's supposed to be cool but it's not. Like a fake transformer from back in the day.
