Sorry to hi-jack but if anyone is selling an OEM carbon wing, pm me.

 

the evo trunks and the lancer trunks are the same, just the front fenders and hood are aluminum on the evo.

 

Electrical tape covers the holes, I would rather spend the $500 for a CF trunk on something to make my car go faster. Maybe when I grow out of wanting to go fast ill buy a CF trunk and lip (there is no lip on the car)

The RS has a thinner steel trunk then all the other Lancers, which are also steel, just a little heavier. There are no aluminum trunks on any American Lancer.

just took it off and put electrical tape on the inside of the trunk to keep water from coming in.

 

anyone know how much the RS trunk can be bought for?

 

I paid 360 bucks for the rs trunk painted TB. The nice thing about the 2nd trunk is it takes 10-15 minutes to go from winged to smooth. Besides it was nice and easy to have no trunk badges, just didnt install em.

 

Some pics here of my wingless evo. You can either go with a cf trunk, get it molded in and re-painted. I put little one inch by one inch black vinyl circles over the holes...

 

Easy way to fill in the wholes is to just trade in your 03 for a RS. Not only do you get a wingless look but you get a new car too!

 

. . .the old saying 'You always want what you dont have' got me so I did a TB wing. Or you could strip your painted one down to CF so at certain times your car will look wing-less and not be as F16-ish all the time. Body color, circular Vinyl stickers exist to cover/waterproof your factory holes if you want.... wheres my wing?
