Powdercoating Rims in CO

Anybodyknow of a place in CO that powder coats rims for a reasonable price? I would prefer Northern CO or the Denver area.... thx!

There is some talk of rims cracking when getting them powdercoated, just throwing that out there

Like the rim itself cracking or just the powdercoat?

the rims themselves... the heating process apparently breaks down the integrity of the wheel.

Yes - must use a low-temp powdercoating

What about painting rims ? .... is it that the paint isnt strong enought ?

power coating CAN be done, just RESEARCH and don't let any yokel do it. theres many people who have done it and done it correctly, pm me and i can give you the # for a guy in Westminster who might be able to help you.

you can just paint them they turn out pretty good if u take ur time.....

ive painted 3 sets of rims for my friends its pretty easy.....

i can help u if u want! it no big deal to paint them

oh and napa has paint made espically for rims

Yeah all that crap is a bunch of BS. I had powdercoated rims on my STI for years. Never cracked and i did track days!
