Asking your honest opinion...

I have a set of new Enkei RPO3's that I have been having second thoughts over. I haven't seen these wheels on an Evo yet. Maybe someone could post a link if they know of one where there is a pic. I put one on the car for fitment and idea of looks, but don't care for the color/finish of the wheel, along with the Apex Silver in which my car is. I have been contimplating on refinishing the wheels with dif color. Colors I have been considering is graphite/titanium and gloss black. If I still can't decide, I will just have to sell. Your HONEST input will be greatly appreciated good or bad, I'm looking for honest here.

Thanks for checking this out here's a pic of the rim in the finish I have.

I like how the wheel looks and am not a fan of body and wheel color matching. So, if it was me, I would keep the wheels and have them painted/powdercoated. Make sure to have a vinyl shop make you some RP03 stickers to replace the ones on there now. That way you will have a wheel that no one else has.

I have another set of factory decals already, and I have access to a vinyl machine for cutting anything I want. So that isn't an issue. Thanks for your input though.

I've never seen RPO3's on an Evo. Your car would be unique in that respect. Paint them gunmetal and call it a day. Plus, I think they weight around 18-19 lbs, which is pretty good for a cast 18x8.5 wheel.

How much were they (just the wheels)and where did you get them?

I got them through a friend I met through one of my wholesale accounts for tires. He is a "aftermarket product specialist" for a company in Ohio. He's been getting me almost everything I have needed for my car. He is an Enkei retailer, and gives me nasty hook-ups on pricing. On any Enkei wheel I want. I got these wheels for $253/each which included shipping to me here in NH. I just haven't seen these wheels on any Evo, and the finish doesn't work well with the Apex Silver. I have the gunmetal paint, factory decals, and a bead blasting booth so the paint process will be done correctly. I bought these wheels about 1 year ago and hav ebeen sitting on them ever since, debating the design.

Thanks for your opinions guys....keep em comin.
