Windsheild isnt tinted, and I forget what % it is. Its whatever is one step above the legal limit????

makes no sense to me to have a harness bar and then mount the harnesses to the rear seat. makes you look stupid. yes i see the camera,just never seen someone mount harnesses like that when they have a HARNESS bar in the car. the harness bar would be much safer,but whatever floats your boat i guess. good luck with your spine,at least you'll have a good footage of the crash. god forbid.

Now look at his setup, there is also a pivot point, which is the harness bar. The direction of the force will be identical if he mounts a harness to the bar, or to the rear seat anchors, as long as it passes over the harness bar.
There will be some downward force on the lateral bar in the case of an accident, but there are supports which normally would operate in tension rather than compression. My guess is they're strong enough to handle the compression load also.
