why would anyone throw their 1200 dollar headlights in an oven for a temp and time they are not sure of? just that statement along scares me.

but like you guys said it can be done and evodave is not the only one out there. He is just the PAPA "if you will" of the headlights. So ease your mind with his work!

What type of paint do you use. Can I get the paint bottle name and where?

I used a high temp spray to do mine, you can find it in any hardware store.

I did my headlights this weekend and everything went pretty well. I took my time and did the first light on Saturday, then the second light on Sunday. I would say the hardest part (If you are by yourself) is getting the headlight apart. On Sunday my wife helped me pull apart the second light and it was way easier that trying to do it by myself.

The only part I had a bit of a problem with is when I put the lights and bumper back on the car. The lights screwed back into their bolt holes, and the bumper is alligned back into all if its holes, but for some reason I have a tiny gap on the drivers side where the light meets the side fender, it also seems as though the gap under each light is more pronounced.

Is there something I am missing? Do I need to adjust the way the headlights are sitting (If its possible) because the bumper seems to be in place?

you sure the headlights are tight together? that happens when you didn't seat the lense to the headlight properly

Were you able to figure anything out? I noticed a larger gap as well after I installed my JDM MR headlights and can't figure out why.
