thanks, appreciate it.
i think the hardest part is not being able to post 3/4 of the pics taken because of color, composition, focus, and all of the other factors of a non Point and shoot camera. The lens I use is not forgiving in low light and even the shutter motion can blur the picture. I should use shutter lockup on the tripod, but it isnt normally necessary with non-macro work..

Mbaran,
Incredible pictures, great quality and awsome editing skills. I must ask, what type of camera is that and what lenses are you using.
Thank you so much, I just got a Canon Rebel XT and I am learning.

no editing.
:-D
I use a rebel XT with a 70-200 L series lens. Its the f/4 so it requires a tripod for night footage. Had i had 2300 for the f2.8 or over 3000 for the Image Stabilizer, maybe no tripod. But i dont mind, a tripod is only 30 bucks.
To achieve the different light settings i simply create a custom white balance. The lights where i shot were mostly yellow halogen, so i shot a white sheet of paper in perfect focus and told the camera that was "white" it then compensates internally (digic II chip) and creates the brilliant blue shots you see. I can never decide which i like more so I usually shoot one of each.
A few of the pics are with the 18-55 kit lens, which is better at night, but I try to stay away from it.
The only post shutter changes I made were resizes.
