EVO Rear Fog From FQ series MOD pics included

My latest upgrade... I really wanted the Rear fog light from the FQ series UK spec EVO... Could not find any part number nor any help on this.... as ALWAYS with the lil things like this... and Finally was able to get one...DONT ASK.. Research as I did and enjoy the benefits of having something in the US knows one else has...or in some case even want... But I like to be different...

Honest opinions as always are wanted... (I know there will be haters. but before you ask, I do car shows, and this is FOR SHOW ONLY.... I see no real function for it here in the states other than novelty and bragging rights...

Here is a real picsture from a FQ series REAR FOG light.. origanly posted here...

Here was what i came up with....

If its just for show... does it even turn on?

and if it does... is it activated by the brakes or a different switch?

could be a functional mod for up in washington state or some place really foggy

Car is super nice. The All Carbon wing with those wheels sets it off. STill deciding on the rear fog.

Question - Who makes the black side spats you have on there, and are they ABS or Carbon fiber.

Very cool.

Might have been a bit more JDM if it were on a JDM rear bumper...

But still very cool.

Hey guys thanks for the propes... yeah the light totally works, and is only spliced into my rear Sidemaker lights.. (so when my light s go on, so dies the rear)... The real UK spec EVO has an actuall switch located where the headlight adjustments are..but I am not good with electrical stuff, so I just had it spliced... as far as it being functional... Here is the deal.. .It has been raining here in Cali, and lots of Fog this week...my girl was behind me in her car and said that in the FOG it really made my car VISABLE, and now saw how it can help in some fog......

AS for the JDM rear... Its not on the JDM spec rear, but the UK spec...but you are right, it would look JDM as hell with the JDM rear..but I did not want to roll without a crashbeam (she is a daily driver).....so I deciede to do this mod and maybe wait for the APR rear diffuser...

The side spats are REAL VEILSIDE sideskirts.... They are Fiberglass....I wanted teh CF, but did not want to wait a minumum of 3 months.. I will post a thread on the kit soon as well... Please cal David at mvpmotorposrts.com He really helped me out when I was on crunh time.. WILL DEFINTLAY GET THE REST of my kit fro mhere... all other places, even my own shop...could get these for months...David at MVP got it in 2 days to my house after I orded it... thanks Dave...
