Another IX conversion

So I went out to eat with my crew, came out to the parking lot and found this :

No note, no witnesses, no nuthin'. State Farm to the rescue. Time for a IX bumper front end conversion.

After weeks of getting parts together, waiting for my body shop time, I finally get my car back:

The list of parts needed has been posted, but I feel the need to show it again. Maybe for sticky purposes:

MR954175 splash shield
MN154998 FR bumper net
6400A387 another FR bumper net
6400B002WA main bumper cover
6512A046WA main lip
6402A023 LH bumper net
6400A384 center net
6402A024 another LH bumper net
7415A050 three diamonds badge

Another thing you need is a duct that directs air to the oil cooler. I do not have this part number.

Thanks, Eggy - I think so too.

8916 - I couldn't hammer anybody's hood because I had no clue who did it.

Total cost to fix the car was about $3500 (headlight had to be replaced too). All I thought I would owe was my deductible. However, State Farm is wise to the game and found out that IX parts are a little more expensive then VIII parts, so I had to come up off an extra $175. Which could arguably just have been grill parts that weren't damaged that could have been reused in their mind had I gone back with the orginal bumper.

I even thought about getting one IX style dark headlight from them since they owed me one anyway, and then just saving up for the right one later. But that would have been too ghetto fabulous.

I know how you feel. I am about to get an IX rear bumper thanks to the insurance company of the 19 year old girl who rear ended me.

Hey David, I was just curious if you were able to mount the intercooler mesh to the front bumper without ordering the "front bumper lower plate"... it's like a bracket that fits at the base of the intercooler mesh and supports the "chin/lip" of the front bumper assembly. If you were able to mount it without the bracket, I'll be happy because it's one less thing for me to buy!
