Anyone know anything about HRE rims, other than they are extremely expensive ? Are they any good ? Are they used for anything ?

I think if you wait for their 2007 model lineup, they will have an LED option which will allow you to put short messages on your wheels while they are spinning!

HRE rims are nice, real nice. The thing about them is that they custom make each wheel to your specifications for whatever fitment you are looking for.

 

They are more commonly found on RWD cars like Supras and 350's with enourmous offsets. In my opinion, theyre more of a status symbol than a performance add on.

 

they were originally for exotics, euros and porches... but because everyone needs blinging wheels it slowly made its way to RWD jap cars. Looks best on RWD cars. It would look kinda weird on an evo.
