just wondering because im going to start to mod -within the next couple weeks -spoke to a tuner today and they said id be good for about 600-650hp with a gt35,built bottom end, exhaust, fuel system, engine management,etc.-- does 7-8k sound right for that kinda work--sorry for hijacking...

this is funny, crack's me up when people just think you can slap on a 35r go 10's and all is well in the world....

600...no way, been there done that! stock ignition fails and i mean bad at about 550-565.. you could possibly get one pass @600whp with coil on plug before the motor pops!

gt35r + stock block = limitations..... lot's of them!!!!! not to mention your transfer case will go to $hit faster than you can blink an eye....

if you want to daily drive with this setup, i recommend a good tune and about 450-475whp.. even then it's only a matter of time before you got issue's..

you'll see, do say you weren't warned....

i rocked this setup for 8 to 9000 miles, my advice! build your motor, get a good clutch, replace your ignition and fuel sys., rebuild your tranny and tranfer case....

if you would have read through instead of just skimming - you would have seen i said... built bottom end ,and fuel system,etc...in my 2nd post.and if you would have read that you would have also seen, that i was only asking if 7-8k was overpriced for the work i was looking at getting done, not looking for opinions on the set up. i only drive maybe about 300 miles a month,so i think ill be ok.but thanks for the warning!

i was refering to what was in the quote, tool box! it was written plain as day! you wrote 600 was possible on stock block, i was simpily stating it wasn't... thats all..... and yes i saw you have a built bottom end
besides i was not even directing the post to you, is was for general purpose.. as for your second post, i didn't even read or could care less....
please do not talk/post down to people, it makes you sound foolish, especially to someone who was making 500+ on a 35r, when you were sending away for your reflash....

this is starting to get a bad as honda forums, you can't even give or get advice here anymore....

go back and look -i never said 600 was possible on a stok block, that was not my quote- i ASKED a question- "... is the gt35r good for 600-650whp?"then i asked another question- about the work i was planning-if i was spending too much.
and as for talking/posting down to people try following your own advice.-toolbox?
