semi gloss black engine enamel paint...done myself...

holding up fine...it's only been about a week

thanks for the props guys...definetly happy with the turn out...as is Evo Girlie and her hawt yewow ebo

Those looks sooo sweet!

Would you bother to write a how to for that? i've been trying to get around to painting mine, but have no idea how to...

I checked the search, but no one seems to have written a step by step..

That would be great tho.


P.S. where did you get the Red Diamond Star center caps, they are really cool

U can get them on ebay or paint them but it would be a big pain in the u know what.

Haha, I'm a 'tard. When you switched from the red Evo to the yellow, I was like "Holy ****, that is QUITE a makeover." Then I looked at the next picture and slapped myself.

I've ALWAYS loved the red/black combo. Much like the silver/black..or, hell, the yellow/black. Black + <color> = secks.

Nice job.

+1 for a how too... I have much painting experiance but i wouldnt want to touch my rims until i know exactly how someone did it. Also does it look like its gonna hold up?

i used the write up some other guy did on the forums... i masked off the emblem and painted it... "steady hands"

let me find the link ...
...i didn't use clear coat...if i were to do it again...i'd clear them... we'll see how long they last...

the apr splitter looks sick, but if you use your evo for any sort of agressive or highway driving it shall rip off
