I took 1st place at Carlisle...

I took 1st place at Carlisle...
Completely didn't see it coming!
We only registered the car "Judged" for fun.
I was washing the bird poop off the car with Meagan and one of the Carlisle people came up and asked what we won...
"Ah, nah, I don't have nearly enough stickers and lights to win anything."
"You're Shawna, right?"
"Yeah"
"You took first."
.... 
I feel like a jackass for saying that to the guy, but honest truth, that was what I said.
I'd like to see the judging sheets. I know there was some, ah, controversy, but it absolutely blew my mind. I think I got first place in a science fair in the 6th grade.
I guess some girl was giving us crap because Emery built the car... but what's the difference if my fiance built the car in our little garage or if some guy sends his evo off to some famous shop? They both get built. I just get to learn alot more and help where my little fingers will reach.
He did a wonderful job and I guess that little plaque on our shelf shows.
...and nice to meet both girlie and the farmer. Great people
