Damnn, those are some nice car pics.
man, those pics you took from cebu sure makes me miss philippines more! i haven't been back since 2000. if you guys ever go back there. go to my home island (BOHOL) you will love it there. cebu has the nice and big malls now too. but if you want to stay quiet and not too much traffic.. go to bohol only an hour and some change thru boat (ocean wave, super cut, etc etc.. very cheap too).

haha thanks. i dont miss PI as much as the others here but i sure do want to spend my vacation there...when i get a vacation.

You must remember that a car in the PI is a LBuxury item - not may people can afford them. As far as EVO's - brand new EVO9 today is US$50K. The people who buy these have plenty of cash. With plenty of cash, they can easily afford the upgrades. There are about 100+ Evo in the Philippines and growing every day - EVO4 to EVO9. There are about 5 EVO's doing more than 550WHP here. If you take the average WHP of all EVO's in the PI and compare to the US, the PI would be much higher ( Even thought there are less cars here, but the average owner has more money to spend on it).

So is the basic scene for evo get togethers backhome at the track in Batangas? My sisters BF has a V and he says when it gets brought to libis no body wants to race no matter how many lengths you give them.

The guy that owns this car paid about 1.2 million pesos or about $24K for used VI. I would buy VI for 24K
The EVO7 is worth about 2 million pesos 
Considering a Nurse in PI makes $300 a month that is alot of money.All these guys that own these cars have rich parents in the export buisness. They are all mostly Chinese Fillipino's.
