Well the red wouldnt be so bad if every kid out there with a Sunfire didnt paint his calipers red to show off his 16" American Racings. But I personally like the red, althought the black looks better than I thought. I think it would look good if you did go ahead and powdercoat them, but gloss black instead of flat. Just my 2 pennies....

I have an idea for the logo that I think is going to work out very nicely. I stripped the paint all the way down because I just wanted to. I know it sounds compeletely **** retentive but I hate painting over one color with another. Figured if I get a big chip I'd rather have some dark tone casting color underneath than a bright a$$ oxidized red spec showing

Has anyone ever tried to just strip the calipers down? I might start a new thread asking this. Just strip them and polish them up. On a silver EVO that might look bad ***.

I think the powdercoating process would be hell on the seals. I would NOT try it.

I don't really like it, but I understand where you're coming from. You did a great job, but I personally would of preferred it like this:
(By the way, this brembo is from the 2007 STi Limited.)

Nah I like the black/silver contrast of the car, that is one of the reasons I did the calipers black. I think once I'm satisfied that this paint is truly baked on I'm going to go with my buddy Asassin79's suggestion of using a gunmetal grey color high temp paint and doing the Brembo labels like that. The monochromatic theme would look sharp imo.
Take care

Stick it to a piece of poster board, and trim it properly.
High temp white paint and...well, now THAT would look sick. Not saying it doesn't but it'd be better

Need for Speed look :
Canards > Wing > Taillights > Brembos
You've got a lot of work to do to make a sleeper, or to raise the maturity level of the car. IMO you shoulda left them alone, red/silver looks fine. Maybe someone with a BBY/LY/EB would want to consider a re-paint, but not to flat black... In fact, the flat black looks more cheap IMO that I would've imagined.
I applaud you going after your own style, but I'm glad it is yours and not Mitsu's.
