OEM 8 with rear diffuser. looks good and serves a purpose.

don't get me wrong the evo IX bumper is awesome.....wife has one.

but I think if she had the choice all over again she would do the rear diffuser. keep the crash beam and provide a fucntional diffuser.

just my .02 cents

this was a hard choice for me as well... I went with the JDM IX Rear cause it definately looks hotter... but not having a rear crash bar makes me caution of drivers behind me more...

I thought of doing my JDM IX for summer and OEM IX with APR Diffuser for the winter but I had to transfer over my brackets and those were a b!tch to get out.

good luck with whatever choice... both will look nice!

I've been debating the same question and including a third bumper which is the new +igns bumper that looks very similar to the jdm 9 but with extra "holes" u could say.....

I definitely think that the jdm evo IX bumper looks hotter, man if it wasn't for that stupid curve from our usdm bumper that goes from the middle to down at the bottom looking like a big smiley face now what purpose does that serves cuz i think our car is the only one with that feature!!!!

can't find the thread, but can't you order the JDM rear crash beam so that you can have the JDM IX rear and KEEP the crash beam? That's the only way I'd do it...can anybody find that thread?

I love the look of the jdm ix rear bumper. I don't know what the APR diffuser looks like so I can't make a decision.
