Hey guys, I scratched the hell out of my rear bumper and it needs to be painted or replaced. What are some of my options for an aftermarket bumper that will allow me to retain my crash bar.

i think you have several choices...
1. repaint your bumper for about $300
2. look for another evo member who is selling their bumper and swap it
3. like you stated, buy an aftermarket bumper and repaint it.

i think the car will look wacky with only the rear bumper. i say you save up money until you have enough for the whole kit, front, rear, and skirts!

Are there any aftermarket bumpers like the EvoIX JDM bumper that still look good on a stock Evo, but retain the crash bar.

 

you could just order the jdm IX rear bumper with the IX crash beam...it'll cost you tho.

 

How much you want to sell your scratched up bumper for...

I need a test rear bumper to cut up to custom fit a rear diffuser :wink:

 

I'll definately sell it if I go aftermarket, but I haven't decided yet.
